Our story
ScaleMyCrew was born from a simple observation:
small and medium-sized businesses need skilled, committed people who are eager to learn and grow, yet they struggle to find talents locally.
Why hire an average employee at a European salary, when you can recruit remotely the perfect candidate : technically outstanding, highly motivated, and genuinely grateful for the trust you place in them? And all this at 2 to 3 times less than the cost of a traditional hire in France or Belgium.
I’m Romain Juillet, and I’ve been an entrepreneur ever since I graduated as an engineer in 2010. In 2012, I founded Bocasay, a company specialized in building technical teams in Madagascar, Mauritius, and Vietnam. Over ten years, we recruited more than 150 team members for demanding European clients. The company was acquired in 2022 by a French group.
But I wanted to take things further.
My ambition with ScaleMyCrew?
To enable every company to build its own offshore team, reflecting its culture, using its tools, applying its methods, and meeting its quality standards. And at the same time, to offer our colleagues in Madagascar real career opportunities in a stable, respectful, and motivating environment.
